Father and son team of Barry and Brad Nelson were keen to get fishing as quickly as possible, hence an early start to the 2008 season. This time of year traditionally finds the GTs less active, however the boys still managed several good size fish on poppers and stickbaits. With all species being new to the Nelsons, trolling up dolphinfish, wahoo and yellowfin tuna kept them excited and gave plenty of opportunity for the healthy father and son rivalry to flourish.
