Regulars Jayson Gerde and Darryl Martin scored great weather on this years trip and this presented some awesome fishing opportunities. Big red bass and mid size GTs were numerous in the shallows while the bigger GTs were taken from the drop offs. Tuna were notably absent due to unseasonal warm water, although some big wahoo were still about. Stickbaits outfished poppers on all species, with both floating and sinking lures proving to be effective. Jigging produced all the likely suspects, however the only doggies encountered out muscled the boys and managed to get back to the bottom for a few spectacular bust offs. Overall it was a great week's fishing with a good mix of species taken on all fishing styles..
