One of the most spectacular fish in the ocean, Wahoo are well known for their speed and their intial scorching run after striking a lure, often stripping hundreds of metres of line in seconds. Wahoo up to 40kgs have been caught around the island by trolling and lure casting. Christmas Island is renowned for consistently good numbers of these outstanding sportfish.
