A late group cancellation and a week away in Cocos meant not much charter fishing for the usually busy month of October. Cold water temperatures continued to bless us with great tuna fishing, and as the water warmed up a little later in the month the sailfish put in their usual cameo performance. The week in Cocos for all the Shorefire boys was full of great waves and some super fun light tackle sessions on the flats. It really is a blast and something you can expect us to be doing more regularly in future.
Mark returned to Christmas Island just in time to take his wife Suhaima out for a birthday fishing trip. You can see pictures of Suhaima with her sailfish, part of a double hook up with a large yellowfin tuna for Mark.
